Funeral for Pauline Mattie Clark, 85, of Bowie was April 13 at White Family Funeral Home in Bowie with Morris Freeman and Jay Webb officiating. Burial followed at New Harp Cemetery in Forestburg.
Clark died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in Bowie.
Born Jan. 30, 1927, in Forestburg to Sim and Nocona Freeman, she retired from Haggar Slacks after 25 years.
Clark grew up in the New Harp community and married Oliver Moore of Greenwood in 1944. After his death in 1952, she married Emery Clark, also of Greenwood, in 1959, and they moved to Bowie in 1967. She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bowie.
Clark was preceded in death by brothers Bennett Freeman, Bob Freeman, Willard Freeman and Junior Freeman; sister Maxine Howard; her husbands; son Ernest Moore; grandchildren Wayne Moore, Tanya Chancellor and Amy Robinson; and great-grandchildren Ethan Chancellor and Morgan Clampitt.
She is survived by children Connie Browning and husband, Edward, of Chico, Paul Moore and wife, Sylvia, of Sanford and Margaret Hunt and husband, Elmer, and Gail Robinson and husband, James, all of Bowie; grandchildren Ricky Pigg, Terry Harris, Missy Duncan, Monnie Jo Hunt, John Hunt, Staci Masten, Micki Russell, Tracy Pollard, Paula Smith, Tammie Klein, Connie Clampitt, Jamie Jimenez, Brian Moore, Jace Robinson and Jared Robinson; great-grandchildren Felicia and Frankie Pigg, Holly, Haylee and Hunter Harris, Chasen and Brandon Duncan, Shane Hunt, Brian Rater, Phylicia Gibbs, Brayden Hunt, Cooper Masten, Kelcie and Autumn Russell, Jude Pollard, Coby and Casey Smith, Paige, Jacob and Ransom Klein, Courtney Stark, Kayla Clampitt, Faith and Emma Jimenez and Jesse Moore; and great-great-grandchildren Lane and Kamden Smith and Kenzlie Stark.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Smith, Jerry Klein, Monnie Jo Hunt, Scotty Duncan, John Hunt and Shane Hunt.
