Orville Ray Bollman

Funeral for Orville Ray Bollman, 67, of Chico is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

Bollman died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in Bridgeport.

Born Sept. 16, 1944, in Chickasha, Okla., to Joseph and Ada (Tompkins) Bollman, he was the southwest region resident engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration and a construction inspector for Alliance Airport. He was also a master electrician.

Bollman served as an airman in the U.S Navy.

He was preceded in death by brothers Odis and Elmer Bollman; and sister Geneva Chadwick.

Bollman is survived by daughter Denise Harrison and husband, Todd, of Fort Worth; sons Joe Bollman and Bobby Bollman, both of Springtown; grandchildren Courtney Brooke Bollman McFadin, Chelsea Nicole Harrison, Samantha Emily Bollman, Madison Isabel Bollman, Clayton Todd Harrison, Christopher Colton Harrison, Conner Bailey Bollman, Jarrett Robert Bollman and Chandler Justice Bollman; and great-grandchild Bradley Tanner McFadin.

He is also survived by brothers Wade Bollman of Grapevine and Joe Bollman of Pennsylvania; sisters Clara Downs of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Viola James of Chickasha; and other family members.
