Miranda Lee Florida

Funeral was Nov. 30 at Greenwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Epting officiating. Pallbearers were Joe Bert Roberts, Jim Bob Roberts, James Black Wood, Damon Red, Joe Walker, Butch Lavender and Jimmy Wilson. Burial was at Sycamore Cemetery.

Florida was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Joe Bailey Community to Birt and Nannie (Boydston) Roberts. She married R.E. Florida Jr. April 5, 1952.

Survivors include her son, R.E. Florida III of Greenwood; daughter Judy Florida of Cleora, Okla., and granddaughter Miranda Fields of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Tommy Glenn Florida and brothers A.J. and N.B. Roberts.
