Minnie Mae Jennings, 69, of Chico lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at home.

Funeral was Dec. 18 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with Randy James officiating, and burial was in Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dusty Tucker, Dylan Vincent, Tyler Jennings, Caleb Jennings, Ernie Herrera and Willy Jack Vincent. Honorary pallbearers were James St. John and Virgil Oates.

Minnie was born Nov. 24, 1943, in Crafton to Geneva (Boyett) and O. B. Shurbet. She was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother and grandma.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharron Tucker and husband, Damon, and Karen Vincent and husband, Ernie Herrera; son Larry Jennings and wife, Stella; grandchildren Dusty Tucker and wife, Audrey, Dylan Vincent, Meagan Tucker, Payton Tucker, Tyler Jennings and Caleb Jennings; great-grandchildren Darden and Kash Tucker; and sisters Elaine Stipes and Nona Leek.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents O. B. Shurbet and Geneva and Robert Mayo; and brother Jewell Shurbet.
