Private graveside service for Linda Fayrene Byrne, 69, of Haslet, formerly of Rhome, was June 11 at Aurora Cemetery.

Byrne died Friday, June 8, 2012, in Haslet.

Born May 5, 1943, in Lamesa to Joe and Myrene (Davis) Bevel, she was a retired school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Bruce Byrne.

Byrne is survived by son Jack Byrne; grandchildren Bailey Danielle and Brayden Mitchell Byrne, all of Haslet; brother Leon Bevel of New Mexico; and sister Carolyn Bevel of Abilene.
