Funeral for Katie Pearl Wilson Brown, 93, of Boyd is 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with Steve Weeks officiating.

Visitation is noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Brown died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Mesquite.

Born Sept. 30, 1918, in Cottondale to D.J. and Lula (Wright) Wilson, she was a homemaker. She married O.P. Brown Dec. 24, 1938, in Boyd. Brown was a member of Boyd Church of Christ and was a former employee of the Fort Worth school system.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nov. 2, 1989; brothers Tom, Dick, Harry and Bill Wilson; and sister Ruby Wilson.

Brown is survived by daughters Anita St. Clair of Dallas and Emily Robinson and husband, Richard, of Coppell; grandchildren Renee Lindsey and husband, Byron, and Mark Robinson and wife, Kristin; great-grandchildren Peyton and Lawson Floyd and Violet Robinson; and other family members.

Pallbearers are J.W. Fuller, Jim “Biff” Brown, Tom Wilson, Ronnie Smith, Gary Arnold and Dave Clark.

Memorials may be made to the Boyd Church of Christ.
