Josephine Bross

Graveside service for Josephine Bross, 70, of Chico was Aug. 9 at Chico Cemetery with Gerre Joiner officiating.

Bross died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, in Decatur.

Born Oct. 20, 1941, in Oklahoma to Marion and Opal (Beach) Britton, she was a homemaker. She married Benny Bross Nov. 14, 1969, in Brownfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband in January 2004; son Carl Bross; and brother Gary Dale Britton.

Bross is survived by son Ronald McCurley of Lake Bridgeport; grandchildren Joseph McCurley and wife, Amanda, of Chickasha, Okla., and Opal Perkins and husband, Robert, of Missouri; and other family members.
