Joan Davis

Funeral for Joan Davis, 67, of Decatur is 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, at First Baptist Church of Decatur with the Reverends Darrell Shaw and Ken May officiating. Burial is at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Davis died Thursday, June 7, 2012, in Decatur.

Born March 7, 1945, in Bowie, Texas to Grady F. and Faye (Shaw) Wells, she was a retired hair stylist and member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She married Donny Davis April 7, 1965, in Paradise.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years; son Rodney Davis and wife, Amy, of Alvord; daughters Lisa Davis Rottner and Julie Davis Perkins and husband, Paul, all of Decatur; grandchildren Jordan Davis and wife, Ashley, Alisha Davis-Rottner, Haley Davis and fianc , Cody Fillip, Amber Perkins, Dylan Rottner, Hannah Davis and Blake Davis; brother Gerald Wells and wife, Joann, of Bakersfield, Calif.; sister Maxine Loafman and husband, Bill, of Decatur; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are Stephen Miller, Stuart Moore, Clay Moore, Craig Moore, Ricky Davis, Justin Davis, Bart Davis and Kellen Miller.
