Graveside service for Jo Anne Taylor, 81, of Decatur was July 3 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Ken May officiating.

Taylor died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Decatur.

Born Feb. 20, 1931, in Decatur to W.T. and Ina (Reeves) Hill, she married Vernon Taylor Aug. 7, 1948, in Decatur. They were married 54 years at his death in 2002.

She was also preceded in death by grandson Dusty Morris; great-grandson Zechariah Morris; and brother Bill Hill.

Taylor is survived by daughter Phyllis Shaw and husband, Jeffrey, of Decatur; son Ted Taylor and wife, Cyndy, of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; grandson Caleb Morris and wife, Rachael, of Euless; granddaughter Alison Taylor of Plano; and great-grandchildren Christian Morris, Asher Morris and Laura Morris.
