Jason McGahey
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. No service is scheduled.
Jason was born Feb. 25, 1974, to Larry and Judy (Traylor) McGahey in Fort Worth. He married Mandi Barnett March 17, 2012, in Decatur. He was an aircraft mechanic at American Airlines.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Mildred Traylor and Elbert and Estell McGahey.
Survivors include his wife, Mandi McGahey of Boyd; his unborn son, Braeden Jason Wade McGahey; his parents, Larry and Judy McGahey of Boyd; his sisters, Gayla Wharton and husband, Randy, of Boyd and Jennifer Partin and son Zackory; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family has requested memorials be made to the Jason McGahey Memorial Fund at First Financial Bank, 609 E. Rock Island Ave., P.O. Box 1988, Boyd, TX 76023 for his unborn son, Braeden Jason Wade McGahey, who is due January 2013.
