James D. ‘Donnie’ Renfro

James D. “Donnie” Renfro, 64, a heavy equipment operator, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, in Boyd.

Donnie was born Jan. 20, 1948, to James and Carmon (Phelps) Renfro in Leonard. He married Debra Graham Sept. 21, 1991, in Dallas. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. Donnie was a member of the Chisholm Trail Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; sisters Peggy and Dollie Gaynes and brother Michael Renfro.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Renfro of Boyd; daughters Sara Renfro and Riley Renfro, both of Boyd, Brenna Nedbalek and husband, Randy, of Burnett, Gina Jones and husband, Curtis, of Fort Worth, Donnell Avila and husband, Dennis, of Houston and Donna Walker and husband, Scotty, of Haskell; son Patrick Price of Hurst; his mother, Odell Renfro; grandchildren Delanie Price and fianc , Ethan Schmidt, Mary, Matt, Robert and Wade Nedbalek, Jay, Xander, Phoenix and Noa Jones, Morgan, Mallory and Mason Avila, and Faith and Kasey Walker.

He is also survived by sisters Brenda Murrell and Wanda Cunningham, both of Whitesboro; brothers Larry Renfro of Whitesboro, Carrol “Sleepy” Renfro of Bandera, Tommy Renfro of Gainesville and Bruce Renfro of Haskell; other family members and a host of friends.
