Jack Eison

Jack Eison, 78, a retired sales rep, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in Bridgeport.

Memorial service was Nov. 10 at the Runaway Bay Community Church with the Rev. Ollin Collins officiating, assisted by Bro. Jim Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were J. Bart Eison, Garrett Eison, Adam Eison, Chris Dodd, Chris Cox and Vance Laminack.

Jack was born July 19, 1934, to Floyd and Jolene (Cunningham) Eison in Gorman. He married Mary Laminack March 12, 1955, in Gorman. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a retired salesman for Larry Mahan Boots. Jack was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter-in-law, Ann Eison and his sister, Kay Henry.

Survivors include his daughter, Lori Eison Dodd of Gorman; his son, Ronnie Eison of Denton; his sister, J.C. Looney of Mansfield; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.

Memorials can be made to veterans groups or a charity of choice.
