Graveside service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Sweetwater Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Staub officiating. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Eula Mae was born June 17, 1919, in Penelope to Robert T. and Eva Mae (Wright) Cox. She married Sam Lambert Feb. 22, 1937, in Littlefield and was married 39 years at his death on March 15, 1976. She was owner of Eula’s Beauty Shop for 32 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Nelda Raye Parrent of Decatur, LaQuita Lambert Martin and husband, Charles of Antlers, Okla., and Dorothy Mae Summerford and husband, James, of Ashford, Ala.; grandchildren Russell Dean Tomson, Sheril Tomson and Dana Englehart, all of Decatur, Andrea Baird of Tennessee, Rhonda Jo Walker of Azle, Michelle Boswell and Toni Rene Hill, both of Alabama; sister Edna Pearl Taylor of Wolford; 11 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Dorothy Fielder and Marquriete Howard, both of Decatur, Valerie Ironmonger of Granbury and Charlotte White of Stillwater, Okla.
