Ernest Lee Brumbalow

Graveside service for Ernest Lee Brumbalow, 81, of Decatur is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Oaklawn Cemetery. Last rites will be performed by Southside Masonic Lodge No. 4111 of Fort Worth.

Brumbalow died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, in Fort Worth.

Born Feb. 2, 1931, in Fort Worth to Harvey Grover and Alma Josephine (Evans) Brumbalow, he retired as a firefighter from General Dynamics after 30 years of service. He was a member of Southside Masonic Lodge No. 4111 and the Baptist church.

Brumbalow was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Joy, April 29, 2003.

He is survived by daughters Deborah L. Fry and husband, Paul P., and Dorcas L. Thornton and husband, William, all of Fort Worth; grandchildren Deborah Ann Thornton, Christine Lee Thornton, Paul P. Fry Jr., and Adam A. Fry; great-grandchildren Adam Harvey and Paisley Jane Fry; sisters Winona Batten of Valley View, Marion Burch of Arlington and DeeAnna Smith of Granbury.
