No service was held for Elizabeth Ann Peterson, 82, of Sunset.

Peterson died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, in Nocona.

Born May 29, 1930, in Rockford, Ill., to Howard and Helen (Vinton) Kissack, she graduated from Hononegah High School in Rockton, Ill., in 1947. She married Thomas Peterson June 24, 1949, in Rockton. They were dairy farmers in Rockton and Humbird, Wis. They retired in 2002 and moved to Sunset.

She volunteered at T.K. Ranch and was a sports fan.

Peterson was preceded in death by brother Robert Kissack; and sister Eunice Beach.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years; children David Peterson and wife, Michelle, of Fairfield, Wis., and Susan Metcalf Harlow and husband, Ronnie, of Sunset; grandchildren Thomas Aaberg and wife, Robin, of Alvord, Elizabeth Dunn and husband, Ryan, of Sanger, Jennifer Noack and husband, Andrew, of Black River Falls, Wis., Sara Peters and husband, Bryan, of Menasha, Wis., Katrina Peterson of Altoona, Wis., and Gregory Peterson of Greeley, Colo.; great-grandchildren Dane, Hagan and Laken Aaberg, Connelly and Kellan Dunn, Thomas and Molly Noack, Evan and Madeleine Peters and Gabriel Peterson; sisters-in-law Mary Kissack of Winnebago, Ill., and Elizabeth Burns of Rockford; nieces and nephews.
