Funeral for Climey Lorene Denton, 91, of Bridgeport is 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with Bro. Roger Rhodes officiating. Pallbearers are Lee Worley, Matt Jenkins, Brandon Chaney, William Kaker, Dale Barkley and Brian Keener. Burial is at West Bridgeport Cemetery.

Lorene was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Sobol, Okla., to Robert Lee and Katie Ann (Ramsey) Stanfield. Lorene, a member of the Cates Street Church of Christ in Bridgeport, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband N.T. Denton; brothers J.Q. and Cy Stanfield; and sister Juanita “Cotton” Stanfield.

Survivors include her sister, Mildred Matzinger of Bridgeport; nieces Patsy Pewitt and Marilyn Stanfield; nephews Danny Matzinger and wife, Nan, Jerry Stanfield and wife, Pam, and Robert Stanfield and wife, Jan; a host of great-nephews and nieces, and many friends.

The family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
