Charline Nabors

Charline Nabors, 72, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, surrounded by her family and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Boyd Cemetery. The Rev. Jodie James will officiate.

Charline was born July 23, 1940, to Charles and Dorothy Redmon in Mansfield. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be remembered and greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Grady Leon Nabors in 2002, following 44 years of marriage; her son, Terry Lee Nabors; her sister, Barbara Dobbs; and her brother, Thomas Redmon.

She was a woman of strength, integrity, honor, determination and loyalty. She enjoyed caring for her family, a paint horse named Sassy and a dog named Lady. She enjoyed music, nature and gardening. Charline retired from Texas Instruments after 44 years of service.

Survivors include her sons, Gary and wife, Tammy, and Glenn and wife, Julie; her daughters, Sheila and husband, David, and Sherrie; her grandchildren, Jarrod, Britt, Jeremy, Elizabeth, Bradley, Clinton, Samantha and Courtney; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Eyan, Alanna and one on the way; her brother, Scottie and wife, Stella; her sister, Claudia and husband, Jim; other dear relatives and friends.
