Carol West
Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Springtown Church of Christ under the direction of White’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery.
Visitation with the family is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Springtown Church of Christ.
Memorial donations may be sent to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
Carol drove a bus for Springtown ISD for 10 years and also worked for U.S. Postal Service in Roanoke for 24 years.
She was a breast cancer survivor in 1988 and 2003.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Gladys Moore.
Survivors include her husband, Robert West of Springtown; daughter Dana Ackley and husband, Stacy, of Colmesneil; son Randall West of Denton; grandchildren Colton, Conner, Tarynn and Rylee Ackley-Colmesneil; sister Joy Hussey and husband, Bob, of Springtown; brother Don Moore and wife, D’Ann, of Springtown; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
