Brenda Lee ‘Mom’ Woodruff

A private memorial service for Brenda Lee “Mom” Woodruff, 54, of Bridgeport was July 9 at her home with Mark Benton officiating.

Woodruff died Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Bridgeport.

Born Aug. 28, 1957, in Waltham, Mass., to Ingrid (Uhlin) and Richard Malmgren, she was a cook for several nursing homes in Wise County and a homemaker.

Woodruff is survived by husband Roy Woodruff; daughters Brandi (Woodruff) Sales and Traci (Woodruff) Morrow; stepdaughters Cheri Hamby and Terri Leek; stepson Kennith Woodruff; her parents; brother Ricky Malmgren; sisters Sonja Louro, Moira Cabral and Jennifer Macho; and grandchildren Joseph Sales and Adrian Sales.
