Billy Ray O’Dell Jr., 58, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, in Bridgeport. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Billy was born on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1953, in Decatur to Billy Ray O’Dell Sr. and Betty (George). He was a retired diesel technician who enjoyed fishing, swimming and visiting with his family.

He leaves behind a son, Casey O’Dell and wife, Natalie; daughters Carrli Woodard and husband, Eric, and Krystin O’Dell; brother Buddy O’Dell; and grandchildren Charles O’Dell, Jeslyn O’Dell, Tripp O’Dell and Brittyn Woodard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Kenny “Bush” and Edith “Delma” O’Dell, and Raymond and Alberta George; sons Brandi Scott O’Dell of Paradise and Jess Lee O’Dell of Springtown.
