Funeral for Betty Mae Robinson, 81, of Azle is 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at U-Turn Ministries Church in Boyd with Kevin Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Jaybird Cemetery.
Robinson died Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Weatherford.
Born March 18, 1931, in Waxahachie to Homer and Betty (Garner) Compton, she was a homemaker. She married William H. Robinson Feb. 9, 1968, in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by brothers JR Compton and Billy Compton and sisters Bonnie Davis and Merle Dawson.
Robinson is survived by son Lawrence Alexander and wife, Darla, of Azle; daughters Debbie Alexander of Azle and Loretta Caso of Springtown; grandchildren Coty, Jason, Michael, Lisa, Joni, Kelly and husband, Cory; great-grandchildren Tyler, Jake, Emily and Hayden; brothers Herman Compton and wife, Helen, of Waxahachie, Doyle Compton and wife, Mary, of Denton, Robert Compton and wife, Geneva, of Waxahachie and Eugene Compton and wife, Marion, of Southlake; sisters Wanda Howard of Fort Worth and Ludean Green of Waxahachie; and other family members.
Pallbearers are Jason Alexander, Michael Alexander, Coty Alexander, Tyler Alexander, Cory Phillips and Greg Compton.
