Bertha Plowman

Funeral was Dec. 24 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with private burial at Pleasant Grove No. 1 Cemetery.

Bertha was born April 27, 1922, in Park Springs to Lon and Esther (Early) O’Dell. She married Carlie Plowman in 1963 in Bridgeport.

She is survived by her husband, Carlie Plowman of Decatur; son Jim Ford and wife, Barbara, of Springtown; grandsons Dustin Ford and wife, Tracy, of Grand Prairie, Joe Pierce and wife, Laura, of Bridgeport, and Michael Pierce and wife, Rene , of Corinth; four great-grandchildren; son-in-law Bill Pierce of Jacksboro; sisters Opal Phillips, Annie Ryan, and Ruby Bennett; brother Charles O’Dell and wife, Carla; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kelly Ford of Decatur; daughter Vicki Pierce; granddaughter Sally Longoria; two sisters; and two brothers.
