B.F. ‘Ben’ Nall

B.F. “Ben” Nall, 83, a retired district welder, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, in Paradise.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial in Cottondale Cemetery. No visitation is set.

The Rev. David George will officiate. Pallbearers include Carey Davis, Erik Larsen, Shawn Dockum, Brad Hayhurst, Dustin Hayhurst and Brandon Simpson. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Cottondale Church of Christ.

Ben was born Aug. 29, 1929, to William and Emmie (Isbell) Nall in Paradise. He married Joyce Holley on July 3, 1948, in Fort Worth. Ben was a retired district welder for Natural Gas Pipeline. He was a member of the Cottondale Church of Christ and the Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge in Fritch.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Donna Davis and infant daughter, Joyce Allene Nall. Ben was the last of 10 siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Joyce Holley Nall of Paradise; his daughters, Carolyn Phillips and husband, Jimmy, of Paradise, Cynthia Hayhurst and husband, Verner, of Archer City; grandchildren James, Jennifer, Carey, Erik, Kristi, Brad, Michelle, Dustin, Michael, and Brett; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
