Aisha Sheaona Sidney Bryant

Funeral for Aisha Sheaona Sidney Bryant, 16, of Alvord was May 28 at Sunset Assembly of God Church with Ernie Patterson, Chad Patterson and Mickey Terry officiating. Burial was at Alvord Cemetery.

Bryant died Friday, May 25, 2012, in Decatur.

Born June 2, 1995, in Denton to Sidney and Shonda (Mathews) Bryant, she was a student at Alvord High School, where she was in band, athletics and FCCLA. She worked at Sean’s BBQ and Plaza Cinema IV and was a member of Sunset Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her mother, Shonda Stroud and husband, Kenneth, of Alvord; her father of Decatur; sisters Ava Shanea Mathews Bryant and Dayssi Tyne Memphis Hall, both of Alvord; grandparents Sheryl and Steve Zwahr, and Wade and Tammy Mathews of Alvord; great-grandparents J.B. and Jean Barnes of Alvord, Cynthia and Tom Dooley of Bowie and Melton and Peggy Zwahr of Houston; and other family members.

Pallbearers were Josh Jones, Trevor Chandler, Bryant Stanridge, Steven Zwahr, Avery Barnes and Jon Zwahr.
