Lady Eagles win first two

The Decatur Lady Eagles soccer team started the season 2-0 with victories over the Carter-Riverside and Burkburnett junior varsities.

The Lady Eagles beat Carter-Riverside Jan. 14 4-1 behind a pair of goals from Zuleima Paloma. She took three shots.

Ruby DeLeon and Sara Webster scored a goal each. Both had three shots. Madison Cannon took three chances and Claudia Aguinaga two.

Whittnie Noe made four saves. Cassandra Moreno had two.

Webster scored a pair of goals on three shots in the Lady Eagles’ 2-1 win over Burkburnett Jan. 18.

Decatur took 13 shots in the game. Ashley Hunter and Paloma had three. DeLeon took two. Aguinaga and Cannon had one.

Noe made six saves. Moreno made one.
