Decatur drops first

After starting the season 2-0, the Decatur Lady Eagles soccer team fell to Fort Worth Western Hills 8-0 Tuesday.

”Western Hills is a really good team that advances to the playoffs every year,” said Decatur coach Stanley Smith.

Decatur managed just two shots against Western Hills with Ruby DeLeon and Joselyn Rivera taking one each.

In goal, Whittnie Noe made 22 saves. Cassandra Moreno added two.

The Lady Eagles took on Mineral Wells Friday.
