Natalie Grudzinski and Shane Christopher Funk of Fort Worth were married July 30, 2011, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Houston. The Rev. Phil Negley officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Grudzinski of Friendswood and granddaughter of Hector J. Romeu of Friendswood.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Funk of Bridgeport, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. GB Funk of Bridgeport and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gentry of Paradise.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless Maggie Sottero gown.
Maid of honor was Danielle Grudzinski of Friendswood, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cara Funk of Fort Worth, Casey Barker, Kristina Giordano, Jennifer Hopkins and Samantha Martinek, all of Friendswood.
Flower girl was Emily Farris of Bellaire.
Best man was Gentry Bryce Funk of Bridgeport, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Bayler of Waxahachie, Will Bernhard of San Antonio, Kagen Elenburg of Fort Worth, Jerrod Lake of Weatherford and Luke Meyers of Decatur.
Mark Wottlin of Houston, Michaela Grudzinski of Shepherd and Beth Bayler of Waxahachie served as the house party.
The bride is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a degree in civil engineering. She is employed by Dunaway Associates, L.P. in Fort Worth.
The groom is a graduate of Texas A&M where he earned a degree in economics. He is employed by Red Oak Water Transfer in Fort Worth.
Following a honeymoon to Jade Mountain in St. Lucia, the couple reside in Fort Worth.
