Funeral for Salvador Antonio Esquivel, 52, of Poolville is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bridgeport followed by a memorial mass at 6 p.m. with Father Sojan George officiating.

Esquivel died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, in Fort Worth.

Born Aug. 1, 1958, in Santa Rosa de Lima, El Salvador, to Ramon R. and Carlota (Hernandez) Esquivel, he took one year of accounting at San Salvador University after high school, and in 1978, he was the lead dancer in the Balet Folkl rico of El Salvador.

He later worked in real estate property maintenance and construction, specializing in custom constrution and remodeling. He played soccer, rode motorcycles, farmed and spent time with family.

Esquivel was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

He is survived by wife Beatriz Martinez-Esquivel; sons Jose Esquivel, Manuel Esquivel and Sebastian Esquivel; daughter Beatriz Haydee; brother Monsenior Rogelio Esquivel; sister Maria Clara; grandchildren Nayelia Noemi Esquivel Macias and Kyle Allen Esquivel Stone.

Memorials in his name may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Derrick Lee, associate director of Programs for Services Department, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
