Snelling died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, in Paradise.
Born Jan. 14, 1931, in Arlington to Dake and Edith Reynolds, she was a lifelong resident of east Fort Worth and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1948. Snelling was a banker for more than 30 years and spent time with her family.
She was a competitive horse woman who won many playday competitions on her horses Coaley and Dolly. She danced and traveled to Spain, France, Portugal, North Africa, Morocco, Mexico, Las Vegas, Santa Fe and other places. She took care of ill family members and volunteered and attended church at Handley United Methodist in Fort Worth.
Snelling was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, W.T. Stewart, and husband of 13 years, Rex Snelling.
She is survived by son Terry H. Stewart of Springtown and partner, Tim Null, of Paradise; daughters Kellie Jo Patterson and husband, Steve, of Springtown and Karen Falls of Cooper; grandchildren Caitlyn Spence, Garrett Wilson, Susanna Wilson and Kara Wilson; and two great-grandchildren.
