Funeral for Danny Calhoun, 62, of Lake City, formerly of Jacksboro, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro with Bill Walles officiating. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro.
Calhoun died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, in San Antonio.
Born May 14, 1948, in Wichita Falls to Juanita (Shields) Calhoun and James Calhoun, he married Pamela Ann Monts Nov. 9, 1977, in Liberal, Kan. Calhoun was a fishing tool specialist.
He was preceded in death by brothers Doyle Calhoun and Dwayne Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife of Lake City; son Brandon Calhoun of New York City; daughter Brandi McFerrin and husband, Chip, of Sanger; mother Juanita Calhoun; brothers Dale Calhoun of Fairbanks, David Calhoun of Wichita Falls and Dean Calhoun of Dayton; sisters Doris Ware of Paradise and Dorcas Kirk of Mansfield; and two grandchildren.
