Wise County 4-H youth get boost

The Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) store in Decatur joined 4-H in support of local youth with the 4-H TSC Paper Clover Campaign, a national in-store fundraising effort that began last week to benefit state and local 4-H programming.

The success of last fall’s campaign spurred TSC’s continued support of the community fundraising event. Through Monday, April 25, shoppers at the Decatur Tractor Supply Co. will have the opportunity to support 4-H in Wise County by purchasing paper clovers for just $1 at checkout.

Wise County 4-H has seen a tremendous amount of community support via the Paper Clover Campaign. The money raised will help lower camp costs for local youth wanting to attend 4-H camp this summer.

“We are excited to begin our Paper Clover Campaign with the tremendous support of Tractor Supply Co. again this year,” said Donald T. Floyd Jr., president and CEO of National 4-H Council.

“Tractor Supply continues to be an excellent partner in our efforts to drive local support of, and community involvement in, 4-H programs throughout the country.

“Their partnership in the Paper Clover Campaign will help provide funding to 4-H in more than 900 Tractor Supply Co. communities across the nation,” he said, “allowing youth to explore interests in everything from animal science to robotics.”
