Questions raised about streets

By | Published Sunday, May 30, 2010

First, I would like to give God all the praise and glory. I prayed for the right words in every letter. Also, I would like to thank the city for the immediate response to the street repairs on the west side of Bridgeport and hiring an outside company to do the work. It’s not that our own employees could not do the work, it just worked out this way.

I have just a few questions. Where did the extra funding come from? Why are you not going all the way down Critterdon Street? Is it because it’s a dead end, and no one will see it?

Well, there are folks who live down there and deserve to get the same benefit as the rest of us.

When will the much needed drainage begin? If not soon, the work being done now will be a huge waste of money. It would be a shame to get this far and have to start all over again.

Mayor McComis: thumbs up. You have already jumped in with both feet and are taking your job very seriously.
